Free Energy Audit
Tens of thousands of Long Island homeowners have already received free energy audits (conservatively a $400 value *) because New York State and PSEG Long Island recognize that having an energy efficient home is not only good for the environment, but also good for your wallet and the local economy.
Long Island Green Homes is being administered by and for Long Islanders via a non-profit collaborative project of Long Island towns, community organizations, and Molloy College.
Every energy auditor in our program is Long Island-based and Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified. BPI is a national organization that sets the technical standards for contractors in energy-efficient building performance, so you know they’re applying the latest knowledge and technology to the energy efficiency of your home. Certification requires that an individual conforms to specified standards, and often involves a written, and sometimes a field or practical exam. Individuals who have been certified through nationally-recognized organizations are trained to build, install, and service clean energy equipment/systems using best practices and quality work.
Our experienced Energy Navigators are not salespeople. They are here to help and answer your questions every step of the way.
