Welcome Leisure Village residents!
Long island Green Homes, in conjunction with PSEG LI, LIPA, and New York State have created a Community Energy Program expressly for you. Using state-of-the-art resources, this initiative is designed to assist Leisure Village residents in making their homes less expensive to heat and cool, safer, more energy efficient, and more comfortable year round. By lowering the costs for these home improvements through economies of scale and community aggregation, you will be able to afford making essential energy efficiency improvements to your home while taking advantage of generous financial incentives from PSEG LI and New York State further reducing out of pockets expenses.
Via one-on-one support, Leisure Village homeowners will be connected with government funds and local, certified contractors to receive money saving and energy efficient improvements to their homes. In addition to reducing your home’s carbon footprint and saving you money, the Long Island Green Homes Initiative stimulates job growth and business opportunities—right here on Long Island.
Thousands of Long Island homeowners have already participated in the Long Island Green Homes Initiative. New York State recognizes that having a home, which is energy efficient, is not only good for the environment, but also good for your wallet. Long Island Green Homes is being administered by and for Long Islanders, and what makes us different is that we are a non-profit collaborative project of Long Island towns, community organizations, and Molloy College.
